There are many opportunities to be get involved: Altar Guild, Prayer Shawl Ministry, Coffee Ministry, Lay Reader, Sidesperson. Please contact the church office to find out more.
We also support the community we live in by providing meeting space to non-church groups such as Vital Seniors, which runs a number of programs and activities for local seniors; Girl Guides of Canada and Scouts Canada youth organizations; and several self-help, dance and exercise groups. Check the monthly calendar.
In addition to opening our building to various community groups during the week, we are very involved in and support various local, national and international outreach programs including St. Matthews-Maryland Community Ministry, Christmas Cheer Board, Habitat for Humanity, Canadian Foodgrains Bank, and the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF).
We offer a monthly Eucharistic worship service at three neighbourhood nursing homes.
We have a long and continuing history of refugee sponsorship, helping settle families from many countries in Winnipeg.
We support Diocesan programs related to our partner diocese in Central Buganda (Uganda).
Our building is available to rent at reasonable rates. Please check the parish calendar for availability and then email the parish office with details of your request. No phone calls please.
