What's happening this month in our church community
Creating a Dementia-Friendly Community May 8, 7 pm We are pleased to host an info session from the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba on Wed, May 8 at 7 pm. The one-hour session will include a brief explanation of what dementia is and how it impacts the brain, a review of brain health, and the importance of dementia-friendly communities. There will be time for Q&A. This event is free and open to everyone. Our hall is fully accessible, including elevator and washroom. Please contact us if you plan to attend - leave a voice message at 204-253-0555 or email stmary@mts.net. Sunday Eucharist - 10:30 am Everyone is welcome at Christ's table. Join us for in-person worship every Sunday at 10:30 am. We provide an easy to follow printed program of the service. Stay for a cup of coffee afterwards if you like! Our Sunday School program for ages 5 and up has children in church at the beginning and end of worship, and in a fun, supervised program in between. It runs September - May. Our Sunday service is also available via Zoom - contact us for the link. |
