About our logo

Our logo represents who we are and what is important to us.

We are a community of faith, and we are also part of a larger community. On Sundays we open our doors to everyone who wants to hear the Word of God. During the rest of the week we welcome various groups into our building, and we offer support to organizations, projects and individuals outside, sometimes far outside, of it.

We see St. Mary Magdalene as a parish that demonstrates faith in action in our community. Our logo captures that, bringing to mind Christianity, outreach, energy, growth and diversity in a single image. The arrows extending both inward and outward symbolize the interaction between our church and the communities we are part of. The frenzy of dots represent people from all walks of life interacting and growing together in faith. The blue/teal colour evokes vibrancy and life.
