What's happening this month in our church community
The Season of Lent
Ash Wednesday (Feb 14 this year) is the start of Lent. On this day, people's foreheads are marked with ashes from burned palm crosses, the mark symbolizing both death and repentance.
During the 40 days of Lent, we reflect on our shortcomings as Christians in various ways including more religious observation and symbolic or literal fasting, because we believe Christ suffered and died for us. Lent is a somber time but it ends with the joyous celebration of Christ’s resurrection at Easter.
Activities during Lent:
Sunday Eucharist - 10:30 am
Everyone is welcome at Christ's table. Join us for in-person worship every Sunday at 10:30 am. We provide an easy to follow printed program of the service. Stay for a cup of coffee afterwards if you like!
Our Sunday School program for ages 5 and up has children in church at the beginning and end of worship, and in a fun, supervised program in between. It runs September - May.
Our Sunday service is also available via Zoom - please contact us for the link.

Read the story of our bus bench
Thanks to a small grant from City Councillor Brian Mayes, last summer the parish commissioned a local artist, Annie Beach, to update the bus bench at the front of the church. The result is a wonderful celebration of life and colour and hope. Read all about it here.
